I could go on, but I think you get what I am saying.
With Trump in the presidency, our country is at risk. Our national security and our domestic well being are in jeopardy.
So, Trump is not the problem. Trump is a symptom of a much more dangerous problem. If Trump is removed, the problem will not go away.
The problem we face is threefold. First, the GOP is no longer a real political party. I'm not sure what it is, but I know what it isn't. It isn't a political party as much as it is a marketing organization.
Second, fake news organizations have gone mainstream. Somehow, demented commentators have become legitimized and normalized.
Last, but by no means least, is the fact that at least 35% of our voting citizenry has gone "bat shit crazy". Yep, 35% of the voters are out of their f**king minds. I'm not talking neurotics, I'm talking full blown, DayGlo lunatics.
Whether this lunacy is a plague or the unfortunate results of an educational system gone awry, is up for debate. It could also be the result of foreign subversion over the course of decades or religious indoctrination over the course of a lifetime.
Whatever the cause, the problem is insanity.
You know why zombie entertainment is so popular? I venture to say it's because it represents what our true problem is. Zombies eat brains. They are mindless beasts that eat at the source of intelligence and thought.
We are the zombies folks - not all of us - not even a majority of us. Just 35% of our active voters. Is that number continuing to grow?
You have pegged it, sir.
