So what exactly is Trump's agenda?
Trump appointed Steve Bannon as his chief strategist and senior counselor.
Bannon will be one of the most influential people in Washington. He will be in
Trump's inner circle. He will be Trump's policy architect.
Here's how Bannon identified himself to a writer in 2013, “I’m a Leninist.
Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal, too. I want to bring
everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.”

Before Trump someone espousing Steve Bannon's views could not have been
considered for a top position in the Executive Branch of our government. A
candidate recommending such a man could not have gotten a major party
nomination, much less won the election, but things are different now.
I can't imagine any scenario in which someone who wanted to renovate their
ancestral home would hire a general contractor who said he wanted to
"bring everything crashing down" and "destroy" it.
Yet, this is exactly what those who voted for Trump have done. They've elected
a man who is proceeding like a wrecking ball. A man who has appointed a
"Leninist" as his chief strategist and senior counselor.
In the last few days, Trump has put the NATO alliance in jeopardy while
demeaning our greatest trading partner, the European Union. He has
trashed the United States' security agencies and compared them to the
Nazis. He has nominated people to head agencies who are on record wanting to
end those agencies. He has needlessly antagonized China while embracing
Vladimir Putin and Russia.
Trump reminds me of Pol Pot. Under Pol Pot's leadership the Khmer
Rouge destroyed Cambodia. They literally brought "everything crashing
down".
Holy Moly!
